Brock
joined the staff of Campus Crusade in the summer of 1994, right after
graduating from Indiana University with a Business degree in Computer
Information Systems, and a minor in playing basketball (go Hoosiers).
He has been serving Jesus in Orlando, Florida since then and loving it.
But his beginning
with Campus Crusade was his Junior year in college. He was active in a
Bible study and weekly meetings and then volunteered for a summer mission
project. After sharing the love of Christ for a summer and seeing
how many people are hungry for a relationship with God, he began to be
very active in doing ministry at IU his senior year. He led a Bible
Study of Freshman guys, shared the gospel with fellow students, spoke
at weekly meetings, and chaired his church council. Speaking of chairs,
he also won the chair jumping contest at a men's retreat - you'll have
to e-mail him for details..
Sandi
joined the staff of Campus Crusade in January of 1997. She had worked
for CCC a year and a half in a "temporary" three month position
- she was so good they begged her to stay. Then before we were married
on March 8, 1997 she took the plunge and officially joined staff.
She had been involved
as a student at James Madison University. She impacted her campus
for Christ in many ways, one of which was by regularly attended prayer
meetings at 7am - amazing for a college student. She also went on
a mission trip overseas to East Asia as well as spending a summer telling
the good news of Jesus' love in Ocean City, New Jersey.
We plan to stay
put until God leads us elsewhere. We love where God has called us
to at the moment. Who knows, we could move to Indiana to work in the Great
Lakes Regional Office in Carmel, IN, or we could go to East Asia as missionaries
or administrative staff.
It is given to Campus
Crusade for Christ and then we are paid out of our ministry account
from all the gifts that come in from our ministry partners. Thus
our living expenses and ministry expenses come solely from ministry
partners who want to reach people for Christ through giving.
